About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Technology Business Systems Consultant to help shape and deliver the next generation of Prime Services trade processing and clearing capabilities. This strategic role will drive the design and buildout of high-throughput processing engines that support Market Maker Clearing, Financing workflows, and full trade-lifecycle automation. The specialist will partner closely with Front Office, Operations, and Engineering teams to define scalable processing pipelines, architect clearing and settlement integrations, and develop robust operational tooling. This role is critical in modernizing the Prime Services platform, improving speed, resiliency, and straight-through processing across the clearing lifecycle.

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

- Evaluate highly complex business problems and provide subject matter knowledge proficiency for technology initiatives
- Understand and ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
- Make decisions regularly for highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of domain and technology applications, and which influence companywide technology solutions
- Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to provide comprehensive technological solutions for highly complex business problems
- Provide guidance and mentorship to individuals at all levels and provide advice to senior leadership on highly complex and strategic issues
- Ensure communication and information flow between business and technology teams
- 7+ years of Business Systems Data and Business Systems Designing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 7+ years Capital Markets experience within Sell-Side, Broker-Dealer, or Exchange environments
- 7+ years expertise across equity and listed derivative trade lifecycles including allocation, reconciliation, clearing, settlement, and financing workflows
- 5+ years' experience Market Maker workflows, sponsored clearing, give-ups, and step-outs
- 5 years' experience of electronic trading (DMA, algo execution, zero-touch)
- 5+ years' experience FIX connectivity and clearing broker/service bureau integrations
- 3 years' experience of regulatory frameworks for clearing, margin, and financing
- Clear communicator with senior FO, Ops, and IT stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication for gap analysis, cost projection, and roadmaps
- Engineering background with financial markets focus
- Must be able to work on-site at the listed location(s)
