Responsibilities 

  • Conduct Quality Reviews of client due diligence for the global institutional book of business. 

  • Ensure completed due diligence is policy-compliant 

  • Trend analysis of quality reviews results and provision of related training to the team if required. 

  • Acting as an SME on negative media and PEP reviews, KYC policy and have working knowledge of UK, EU and other EMEA and APAC regulatory requirements 

  • MI management and reporting 

  • Identification and assessment of potential non-compliance issues. Provide recommendations and collaborate with the areas involved to resolve and implement improved controls 

  • Assistance on annual RCSA reviews and committee escalations 

  • Participation in local and global onboarding related projects 

  • Maintenance of the local procedures and work instructions to ensure alignment with process and regulatory related changes 

  • Collaborate with the colleagues in other local offices and Head Quarters to align on the best practices and quality delivery 

 

Your profile 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the financial services sector 

  • In-depth knowledge of UK and EU AML regulatory frameworks and related legislation. Similar knowledge of regulatory requirements in other jurisdictions in EMEA and APAC will be an advantage 

  • AML or KYC related industry qualifications are a plus 

  • Self-motivation and the ability to work within the regulatory standards while focusing on excellence in customer experience 

  • Strong research and analytical skills 

  • Professional and structured approach working with both clients and internal stakeholders 

  • Flexibility/adaptability in a fast-moving and fast-changing environment 

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills 

  • Drive and tenacity in reaching goals  

  • Team player with a proven ability to collaborate effectively and aptitude to engage stakeholders but can also work independently and under pressure 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering client-centric solutions for related projects
