Senior IT Project Manager - Remote (UK based)


About This Position

We are searching for a Senior IT Project Manager to join our Athena 7 team.  In this role, you will be responsible for successfully guiding complex client implementations from concept through delivery.  The Senior IT Project Manager ensures that client solutions are delivered on time, within scope and budget and deliver high quality and value.


Key Responsibilities

  • Guide end-to-end client implementations
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, work breakdown structures, and success metrics.
  • Develop and maintain other PM artifacts that clearly define milestones, dependencies, roles and communication.
  • Facilitate daily project alignment and other required project meetings, track progress, tasks, dependencies, and risks to ensure stakeholder alignment
  • Scope and schedule management
  • Collaborate with technical SMEs and key stakeholders to develop task lists, hours estimates and solutioning.
  • Build and maintain strong internal and client relationships
  • Facilitate executive-level presentations, project updates, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Drive change management efforts, ensuring user adoption and smooth transitions.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues; escalate as necessary
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications, Requirements & Preferred Skills

  • 10+ years of technical project management experience, preferably client-facing, leading complex projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with project management tools, preferably ServiceNow
  • Bachelors Degree in Business or Technology
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience collaborating with internal, vendor and client project management staff
  • Experience in security, disaster recovery and/or business continuity a plus
  • PMP certification a plus
