Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join our Loyalty Benefits team and help us build great experiences for our most loyal ASOS customers. You’ll work closely with a product manager, designer and backend engineers to bring new loyalty features to life in the iOS app, crafting smooth, reliable and thoughtfully designed user journeys that feel genuinely rewarding.

You’ll have plenty of influence on how we build things: shaping architecture, improving performance, and helping us make good, pragmatic technical decisions as the product grows. It’s a collaborative role where you’ll partner with other platforms too, making sure our loyalty benefits feel consistent, intuitive and genuinely delightful across the whole customer experience. If you enjoy solving real customer problems and shipping features that make a meaningful impact, you’ll fit right in.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver top quality projects made using best practices and guidelines
  • Work with our design team to implement clean design that respects the platform
  • Work in an agile, cross-functional team taking joint responsibility for the engineering team deliverables
  • Take a proactive and hands-on approach in all features and tasks

Qualifications

About You: 

  • Solid experience with Swift 5 and the foundational iOS frameworks is essential
  • Strong experience using Xcode, IB and Auto Layout to create advanced UIs
  • Deep knowledge of Apple's HIG, design best practices, coding and naming guidelines
  • Good knowledge of software design patterns and software architecture principles
  • A passion for clean code
  • Experience in building universal apps that support different layouts for iPhone and iPad
  • Regularly write unit tests
  • Experience with UI automation (any tool)
