The Investor Relations Strategy Manager will develop relationships with institutional investors, support exclusive product delivery, and ensure alignment with investment strategies.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Investor Relations Manager to join our growing team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial part in developing and nurturing investor confidence and belief in YouGov's compelling vision and strategy for delivering sustained shareholder value.

As our Senior Investor Relations Manager, you will work closely with the Head of Investor Relations & Corporate Strategy, CFO, and our Finance and Company Secretariat teams, as well as our external advisors, to ensure clear, consistent, and compelling communication of our performance and prospects.

To thrive in this role, you will quickly develop a deep understanding of YouGov's business model, with a particular focus on the key drivers of our profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow.

Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):

  • Contribute to the development and execution of a comprehensive investor relations program aligned with YouGov's overarching strategic objectives.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with shareholders, analysts, and other key stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact for their inquiries.
  • Clearly and effectively communicate YouGov's financial results, strategic initiatives, and future outlook through engaging presentations, informative conference calls, impactful press releases, and other relevant channels.
  • Manage and maintain consensus models and internal forecasts, providing insightful analysis to support our investor relations activities.
  • Coordinate and execute investor events, including quarterly earnings calls, investor conferences, and roadshows, ensuring seamless logistics and impactful engagement.
  • Proactively monitor and analyse competitor activities and broader industry trends, identifying potential risks and opportunities relevant to our investor relations strategy.
  • Contribute to the production of our annual report, including drafting key content, diligently gathering data from internal stakeholders, and effectively liaising with our design agency and auditors throughout the production and approval process.

These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:

  • Proven experience in investor relations and/or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • A strong grasp of financial statements, including the ability to understand and articulate the key drivers of a profit and loss account, balance sheet, and cash flow to external audiences.
  • Demonstrable experience in drafting high-quality content for financial markets, such as annual reports, earnings releases, and investor presentations.
  • A solid understanding of equity markets and investor dynamics.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and nurture strong professional relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
