About the Role
This role will support the delivery of the Media Investment strategy for a portfolio of clients across IPG Mediabrands, reporting directly to the Account Director. Working closely with Senior Investment Planners, you’ll help develop and implement media plans that align with client objectives and our agreed investment approach, leveraging IPG’s industry expertise and strategic partnerships to drive meaningful value for our clients.
We are looking for a proactive and curious individual with a solid understanding of digital advertising concepts and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You should be fluent in MS Office, particularly Excel (including pivot tables and chart creation) and comfortable working with statistics and analysis methodologies. Excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment are essential. We're seeking someone eager to learn, get hands-on and stay up to date with industry trends.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Client Strategy & Campaign Support
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Business Leadership, Activation, Solutions and Trading to support client investment needs.
- Assist in managing the full campaign lifecycle, from initial briefing to final reconciliation.
- Coordinate partner briefings and contribute to the development of Planning Frameworks for tactical teams.
- Deliver reporting and insights that support trading performance and client objectives.
Industry Engagement & Media Partnerships
- Stay informed on industry developments and contribute to weekly internal digests with relevant news, trends and POVs.
- Maintain up-to-date resources from media partners including credentials, case studies, rate cards and training materials.
- Act as a key contact for media owners during campaign briefings, ensuring responses align with both client and internal expectations.
- Support compliance and risk management efforts by completing required training and adhering to company policies.
Team Collaboration & Learning
- Complete all required training on proprietary tools and partner platforms.
- Continuously build channel knowledge to support the development of best-in-class media strategies.
- Provide operational support to the Investment Planning team, including coordinating internal sessions and fulfilling reporting needs.
