Role Description:

The Senior International Sourcing & SFN Manager will be ShipBob's first dedicated in-market resource for the international SFN network. The role combines end-to-end sourcing of new fulfillment nodes across UK, EMEA and AUS with ongoing performance management of established international partners - a combination that reflects the scale of the current network and the pace of growth required through 2027 and beyond.

This is not a support role. The person in this seat owns the international partner lifecycle from initial market intelligence through operator qualification, commercial origination, contracting, onboarding, and ongoing performance management. They are the single point of contact for all international network activity and the primary in-market commercial presence representing ShipBob to operators, brokers, and landlords across the region. This role reports to the Sr. Director, Network Development.

What you’ll do:

Sourcing

  • Own the UK, EMEA and AUS operator sourcing pipeline end to end from market intelligence and operator identification through Pre-Screen, Operator Assessment Scorecard completion, commercial origination, and contract execution.
  • Maintain a live operator pipeline and tracker in advance of forecasting indicators and unique building needs.
  • Complete due diligence on all international operator assessments with regional specific considerations.
  • Conduct in-market site visits at the point of sourcing as a competency and audit activity.
  • Drive cross-functional sourcing efforts and execute plans that align with business objectives.
  • Ensure multi-thread options in all region activities.
  • Drive commercial conversations with international operators through MSA negotiation and execution.
  • Identify and flag non-standard clauses and work with legal to resolve.
  • Confirm all contracts meet ShipBob ramp needs while maintaining commercial viability.
  • Own handover from sourcing to implementation.

Partner Performance Management

  • Own the ongoing operational relationship with all UK, EMEA and AU partner sites including SLA tracking, QBR preparation, and first line escalation for operational issues.
  • Work in close coordination with operations teams on partner improvements, productivity enhancement, and compliance with ShipBob’s operating standards.
  • Issue and manage performance improvements for underperforming partner sites.
  • Conduct planned and unannounced site visits in line with risk profiles.
  • Deliver monthly network health reports covering all international nodes including certification and compliance status and partner profitability.

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in third-party logistics, fulfillment network management, real estate sourcing or directly related field within the UK and EU markets.
  • Deep familiarity with the UK and EU logistics and 3PL operator landscape.
  • Proven track record of managing complex commercial negotiations with logistics operators or landlords to successful outcomes.
  • Experience managing partner or supplier performance against defined frameworks, with comfort issuing cure notices, running improvement plans, and making exit recommendations when necessary.
  • Ability to assess current market dynamics and operator environment.
  • High commercial maturity with ability to hold position in negotiation, identify when a partner is exploiting ambiguity, and represent ShipBob’s commercial interests without requiring escalation to resolve standard issues.
  • Exceptional data and reporting discipline.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly across UK, EU and AU for site visits and partner meetings.
  • High EQ and interpersonal skills. An expert communicator who can span various stakeholder skillsets and backgrounds to clearly articulate needs to manage projects to successful outcomes.
