As we deliver our Data & Destinations Strategy, we’re looking for a Senior Internal Communications Specialist to lead the creation and implementation of our internal communications framework that connects people to purpose, strengthens community and enables us to embed the culture shift required to become an innovative data and technology business.
Key to your success will be your ability to build trusted relationships, coaching, influencing and confidently facilitating discussions that challenge assumptions with people at all levels.
What you’ll be doing
Lead and shape our internal communications framework
Own and develop our internal communications framework, connecting people to purpose, strengthening community and enabling the culture shift required to become and innovative data and technology business.
Create meaningful, people‑first communications
Produce compelling, accessible content for channels such as the intranet, newsletters, and Viva Engage.
Tailor communication to different audiences, ensuring equity of experience and access to information for all colleagues including those in non‑desk‑based roles.
Be a trusted partner, adviser, and influencer
Build trusted relationships across the organisation coaching, influencing, and confidently facilitating discussions at all levels.
Advise senior leaders, supporting clear decision‑making and ensuring our messaging is transparent, respectful and aligned.
Lead communications through change
Shape communication for organisational change, ensuring clarity, empathy, and alignment through transitions.
Collaborate and bring ideas to life
Partner with teams to deliver campaigns, events and initiatives such as all‑company events, wellbeing, cultural moments, and technology/AI awareness.
Explore new and innovative ways to reach and engage colleagues across a wide range of roles and locations.
Measure what matters
Develop meaningful KPIs and reporting mechanisms to evaluate impact and continuously improve our communication approach.
What you’ll bring
Proven experience in leading the development and delivery of internal communication frameworks/strategies aligned to business strategy
Passion for connecting people to purpose and driving cultural alignment, with strong understanding of audience segmentation and channel strategy.
Understanding of how internal communications influences employee experience.
Excellent copywriting and storytelling ability, with a focus on clarity and impact.
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience advising and influencing senior leaders.
Proficiency with tools like MS Office, Dot Digital, Poppulo, SharePoint, and Viva Engage.
Experience of using AI to complement expertise and maximise efficiency.

Salary – £49,500 - £57,500 (dependent on experience)
Performance related bonus up to 10%
