Job Description:

The Senior Insights Director sits within the Global Research and Insight team and will work closely with the Global Strategy and Account teams in Carat, Dentsu X and iProspectThis role will lead client insight projects internally and directly with clients, create content for pitches and thought leadership as well as developing insight solutions and best practice that can be scaled across our network. 

We work in a fast-paced environment, and therefore applicants will need to be comfortable picking up quick turn-around projects and being able to prioritise work in order to deliver best in class analysis and insights. 

We are looking for someone creative who can think outside the box right from planning a research programme through to analysis and delivery of the insights and new solutions that will provide maximum client business impact. The new approaches developed could be through repackaging current deliverables and/or via new techniques and methodologies. We are looking for someone that has experience in cultural insights, strong critical thinking when it comes to using AI solutions and is a strong storyteller.  

Key Accountabilities

  • Direct client facing work, liaising with CMI Teams and representing insight in current client and new business presentations. 

  • With a focus on research, insight, evaluation, and performance you will be proactive in managing and developing relationships directly with our clients and stakeholders 

  • Ensuring that the Global Strategy Team are fully supported in all cross sell and upsell, client discussions on insight, research, and communications measurement. 

  • Support Dentsu Media teams in the markets with relevant knowledge about, and application of Global Research projects and tools.  This includes proactively engaging this community   

  • Design and delivery of multi-market research and insight to support new business pitches 

  • Development and delivery of thought leadership pieces with support from strategy and marketing 

  • Roll out of Research & Insight products for the global teams and across the network from conception to delivery 

 

 Professional Skills

  • This is a client facing role so we are looking for someone comfortable to develop direct relationship with clients.  

  • Ability to design research solutions and be creative with a variety of different data sets (including digital) and methodologies 

  • Exposure and experience using AI solutions – imperative critical thinking  

  • Experience and keen interest in cultural insights and cultural intelligence 

  • Strong story telling skills and strong creativity when it comes to data mining  

  • Proven history in media, communications and generating consumer insights 

  • A good understanding of the wider aspects of commercial marketing and business 

  • Ability to generate professional client relationships and gain trust at the highest level 

  • High quality presentation skills and strategic selling skills 

  • Good project management skills and ability 

  • Highly collaborative, able to develop teams and work across countries and disciplines 

  • Interest in popular culture and innovation
