Xantium is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and manage critical systems supporting core business functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting secure and scalable solutions for email, messaging and mobile devices within Xantium’s Microsoft Azure/Entra ID and Microsoft 365 environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert support and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align IT solutions with business goals while staying up to date on latest technologies
- Maintaining detailed documentation of system configurations and policies
- Developing and enforcing identity and access management policies (SSO, MFA, conditional access)
- Securing mobile devices with Intune MDM, including policy configuration and compliance
- Automating admin tasks using PowerShell and related scripting tools
- Troubleshooting complex issues in authentication, messaging, and infrastructure
- Leading migrations and upgrades for identity and messaging systems
Applicants should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years experience with Azure/Entra ID, Exchange (on-prem and online), and Microsoft 365
- Proficiency in PowerShell and scripting automation; Python or Linux shell scripting a plus
- Experience with hybrid cloud and on-prem infrastructure; Citrix preferred
- Strong troubleshooting skills across authentication, messaging, and device management
- Knowledge of identity and access management concepts including SSO, MFA, and conditional access
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation for escalated support
