What you get to do in this role:

• Respond to customers security questions and issues
• Come up with ways to do things faster, better and more effectively
• You will work with teams to maintain up-to-date baselines for the secure configuration of ServiceNow instances
• You will participate as an escalation contact in the On-Call rotation, to ensure that Security Operations can respond to priority incidents
• You may be called upon to assist with the deployment, integration and initial configuration of new security solutions or enhancements to existing security solutions.
• Working with customers to explain appropriate security behavior and configuration
• You will work in a collaborative environment with internal teams on critical Security Issues

Qualifications
This position requires passing a ServiceNow background screening, USFedPASS (US Federal Personnel Authorization Screening Standards). This includes a credit check, criminal/misdemeanor check and taking a drug test. Any employment is contingent upon passing the screening. Due to Federal requirements, only US citizens, US naturalized citizens or US Permanent Residents, holding a green card, will be considered.
To be successful in this role you have:

• Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
• 4+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of ServiceNow platform experience.
• Automation knowledge (Python, bash scripting) and experience hardening SaaS platforms
• Background working with data logging applications (e.g. Splunk)
• Knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools (Qualys, Nessus)
• Knowledge of BurpSuite
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 Vulnerabilities
• A defensive security mindset
• A customer first mindset
• Ability to explain complex issues to executives and customers
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) Preferred
• ServiceNow advanced configuration knowledge a plus (ACL, Business Rules, etc)
• GSEC, GCIH, CEH, GCIA or CISSP certifications are a plus
