ABOUT THE ROLE

A Senior Social Marketing Executive who delivers best-in-class influencer campaigns for Waitrose. Assists with planning, managing and delivery of influencer campaigns to drive reach, engagement and sales against business and marketing objectives.

  • Expected salary - £35,000 - £40,000 (dependent on experience).
  • Contract type - This position is a Permanent contract.
  • Working pattern/flexible working - The Partnership has adopted a hybrid working approach, meaning you'll be able to work a mixture between the office and home based upon your personal needs whilst balancing the needs of the business. The team aim for around 2 days a week in the office to connect and on a more ad-hoc basis to attend key meetings. 
  • Location - The role is based at Bracknell with hybrid working.

Key responsibilities 

  • Develop and execute best-in-class influencer campaigns from ideation to post campaign analysis.
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with influencers aligned with Waitrose’s brand values and objectives.
  • Proactively identify trends, cultural moments, and reactive opportunities to create timely influencer content.
  • Work closely with the paid social team to deliver high-quality influencer assets optimised in paid social. 
  • Track, measure, and analyse influencer campaign performance against KPIs, using insights to optimise future activity. 
  • Build strong relationships with external agencies and partners.
  • Work closely with PR, social, content, and brand teams to ensure influencer marketing aligns with the wider business plans.
  • Manage influencer contracts, compliance, and legal requirements, ensuring all content adheres to ASA and CMA guidelines.

Essential skills/experience you’ll need 

  • Social enthusiast with demonstrable experience in influencer campaigns 
  • Ability to identify, build, and nurture long-term relationships with influencers across various platforms.
  • Negotiation skills to secure partnerships and collaborations that align with brand goals.
  • Understanding influencer contracts, pricing, and performance metrics.
  • A creative thinker delivering inspiring relevant content whilst managing data.
  • Knowledge of the latest developments within Social Media. 
  • Experience of multiple stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge & experience using social platforms (primarily Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest & YouTube).
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple influencer campaigns simultaneously.
  • Ability to coordinate with internal teams (marketing, PR, design) and external stakeholders.

Desirable skills/experience you may have 

  • Strong online experience, ideally within Grocery retail 
  • Experience of wider digital marketing channels and how they influence Social and vice versa, specifically SEO, Email, Display and PPC
