The Role

The purpose of the role is to support the delivery of the Lloyd’s People strategy managing a programme of delivery across Diversity, Inclusion, Wellbeing, Values & External Forums maximizing engagement from senior leaders and line managers to create inclusive and high-performing teams.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Function as a consultant to the Heads of People, Senior Leadership Team and line managers to achieve culture, engagement and inclusion objectives and KPIs including advice on a broad range of inclusion topics

  • Manage the Lloyd’s Together Network including Executive Sponsors and chairs including action planning, budget management, advice on delivering inclusive events and ensuring alignment with the Lloyd’s Global People Strategy

  • Develop and delivery inclusion solutions workshops, training sessions and best practice toolkits for the Corporation and the Lloyd’s market

  • Conduct Equality Analysis on all people process, providing recommendations for developing data reporting and utilising insights including upskilling, process change and supporting tools to ensure delivery of People Strategy objectives

  • Manage all relevant external forums including the Insurance Industry Diversity & Inclusion Forum, Partner Networks and provide secretariate and programme management for Inclusion@Lloyd’s e.g. project management, papers, minutes and actions

  • Manage Lloyd’s performance on selected Accreditations, Benchmarks and deliver inclusion related corporate reports e.g. Pay Gap reporting, Sustainability Report content & Women in Finance Charter

  • Manage Lloyd’s Values Recognition Scheme, including collateral and content creation for Lloyd’s internal communications and social media

  • Manage Lloyd’s Wellbeing provision including wellbeing learning, provision, partnerships and Wellbeing Champions

  • Manage supplier performance against our Inclusive Procurement requirement

Skills

  • Networking & Ambassadorial skills – including developing and maintaining internal and external networks which support performance against the Principle 13, PBO standards for the Corporation and Market

  • Facilitation and advisory skills – including delivering training, upskilling sessions & coaching 

  • Influencing & Negotiation – including senior internal and external stakeholder groups, accreditation bodies and industry groups

  • Project Management Skills – including managing multiple projects and campaigns

  • Analysis skills – including equality analysis, interrogating survey data and providing insights and recommendations

  • Communication & content development skills– including the ability to develop training content, best practice toolkits, and corporate reporting on a broad range of inclusion and wellbeing topics

  • Supply Chain Management – managing inclusive procurement processes including tender evaluation and contract performance stages

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of HR (generalist or key discipline) practices and procedures

  • Understanding of HR metrics, analysis and HR systems

  • Knowledge of Wellbeing providers and best practice

  • Knowledge of inclusive procurement and supplier diversity processes
