Are you passionate about people and ready to take your HR career to the next level? As a Sr. HR Operations Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of HR operations, providing essential administrative support for our day-to-day HR functions. From Compensation and Benefits to Payroll, Learning & Development, and more, you’ll help ensure that systems run smoothly and processes stay on track. You’ll play a crucial part in keeping our HR data up-to-date and accurate, ensuring that both Team Members and Team Leaders have their questions answered quickly and correctly via phone and our ticketing system. When complex or sensitive issues arise, you'll step in to escalate or direct them to the right team, ensuring everyone gets the support they need.
This is a full-time role based in Austin, TX, with an expectation of availability for 8-hour shifts between 8am-6pm CST 5 days a week (in the Store Support office) and some weekends (remote).

What You'll Do: 

  • Coach and Advise: Provide expert guidance to Team Members and Team Leaders on HR policies, ensuring they have the right information to navigate their HR needs and help resolve complex issues. 

  • Ensure Follow Through: Oversees tracking and resolution of issues raised by Team Members and Team Leaders. 

  • Collaborate for Solutions: Work closely with HR colleagues in Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, HRIS, and other departments to address recurring issues and improve processes. 

  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing efforts to streamline and enhance HR transactional processes, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our teams. 

  • Ensure Consistency: Uphold consistency in the interpretation and application of HR programs, policies, and guidelines, providing clarity and support where needed. 

  • Be a Key Representative: Represent HR Shared Services to internal teams, stakeholders, and customers, maintaining strong relationships across the business. 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • A high school diploma with 2-4 years of relevant experience. An associate degree or some college coursework is a plus. 

  • Prior Call Center experience is a bonus! 

  • Strong experience with Customer Relationship Management Systems (CRM) that includes inbound calls; experience with Salesforce is a plus. 

  • A deep understanding of HR policies and procedures, with the ability to filter, interpret, and apply them to real-world scenarios. 

  • Solid transactional knowledge of HR functions, including Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Team Member Relations, and more. 

  • Familiarity with HRIS systems is strongly preferred and Workday experience is a plus. 

  • Excellent communication skills, with a natural ability to provide clear guidance and support to others. 

  • The ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, adapting as priorities shift. 

  • A proactive, resourceful attitude, always ready to gather the information and resources needed to complete projects.
