The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to play a key role in shaping and delivering Frontier’s People agenda across our European offices. This role is well suited to someone with a strong understanding of commercial drivers and professional services environments, who can balance strategic impact with hands-on HR delivery.

In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing both strategic and operational HR partnership that supports business objectives and fosters a positive, high-performing culture. You will manage and coach our HR Business Partner, ensuring the delivery of consistent, high-quality HR support across offices. You will also lead on complex employee relations and performance matters, applying sound judgement, a pragmatic approach, and a strong commercial mindset, while keeping Frontier’s culture at the forefront.

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to strategic people initiatives while maintaining close involvement in day-to-day HR activity within an international, knowledge-based organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Performance and Employee Relations

  • Lead on complex or sensitive employee relations cases, providing clear, pragmatic guidance.

  • Ensure performance and capability processes support high-performing practices, with an inclusive, fair, and consistent approach.

  • Coach leaders to confidently manage performance, feedback, and difficult conversations.

  • Partner with the wider People team to evolve policies and deliver relevant training.

Talent Management and Development

  • Partner on annual pay, bonus, and promotion processes, promoting a high-performance and feedback culture aligned with Frontier’s expectations framework.

  • Identify and respond to talent trends, progression opportunities, and retention risks, working collaboratively with practices to design and deliver impactful solutions.

  • Ensure talent management approaches are inclusive by design and delivery, promoting diversity and equity at all levels.

  • Collaborate with Learning & Development to align growth opportunities with business needs.

Insights and Project Leadership

  • Use HR data and analytics to identify trends and risks, supporting strategic workforce discussions.

  • Lead or contribute to people-related projects, ensuring they are well-scoped, practical, and delivered to a high standard.

  • Use feedback and insight from practices to drive continuous improvement within the People team.

  • Prepare papers, data, and analysis to support People Leadership Team and Executive discussions.

Culture and Collaboration

  • Champion Frontier’s culture of openness, collaboration, and co-creation.

  • Promote consistent, values-led people practices across offices.

  • Act as a bridge between the People team and the wider business, role-modelling clear, approachable communication.

About You

Essential

  • Proven experience as a Senior HR Business Partner, with significant employee relations expertise.
