About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team in Limassol, Cyprus. This role will support both our office-based and remote employees while partnering with managers, ensuring alignment with company policies and best practices while driving a high-performance culture. The HRBP will work closely with leadership and employees to provide operational and strategic HR support, with a focus on employee relations, performance management, talent development, HR process improvements and manage payroll administration for the region which incudes, Cyprus & Europe (via Deel).

Requirements

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers, providing guidance on people-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and policy application.
  • Support managers in driving employee engagement, retention, and high performance across teams.
  • Oversee and support HR operations in Cyprus, ensuring compliance with local labour laws and company policies.
  • Partner with managers on workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
  • Provide coaching and training to managers on HR best practices, performance management, and effective leadership.
  • Support employee relations, managing grievances, disciplinaries, and conflict resolution in line with company policies and local regulations.
  • Support with employee onboarding/offboarding and contract management for Cyprus and remote regions in Europe to ensure a smooth employee experience.
  • Assist in driving key HR projects, including automation of HR processes, performance review cycles, and HR data analytics.
  • Collaborate with the wider HR team to ensure a consistent and aligned approach to HR across regions.
  • Administer payroll for Cyprus & Europe and support payroll processes for other regional locations as required, ensuring compliance with local regulations and timely payments.
  • Manage payroll data, including salary adjustments, bonuses, deductions, and statutory contributions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and ways of working.

What we expect:

  • 4-6 years of HR experience in a generalist or HRBP role, ideally within an international or fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Cyprus employment law and best practices in HR operations.
  • Proven experience in employee relations, performance management, and HR advisory work.
  • Experience with payroll management and ensuring compliance with local payroll regulations.
  • Experience in supporting and coaching managers on people-related matters.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver effective HR support in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret HR data and make informed decisions.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively as part of a regional HR team. Team collaboration is highly encouraged.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (experience with HiBob is a plus).
  • Experience with Confluence, Jira and MS packages like Outlook and Excel.
  • Fluency in English is essential; Greek & Russian is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
