About Skyscanner

Everyone loves travelling, but planning is not without its challenges ✈️. That's why we've spent 20 years building tools that turn travel-planning chaos into a breeze. Today, around 100 million travellers count on us every month to skip the whole “47 browser tabs open” phase and find flights, cars, and hotels quickly and easily 💻.

Joining Skyscanner means becoming part of a global brand that's striving to become the planet's go-to travel hack accessible for all 🌍.

Our vision? To be the world's number one travel ally. (Ambitious? 💪 Yes, but, hey, that's what got us here)

About the role

(Hybrid)

Your mission:
As a Senior People Advisor, you’ll help shape a work environment where people feel supported, valued and set up to do their best work. Partnering closely with People Partners, you’ll blend operational excellence with proactive coaching - empowering managers to lead with confidence, tackle challenges early and build engaged, high-performing teams.

With a healthy mix of empathy, data and sound judgement, you’ll provide hands-on support and thoughtful guidance that helps our people and our business thrive.

What you'll be doing

  • Empowering managers: Coaching leaders through people-related questions, helping them land effective, timely solutions while levelling up their people-management skills.

  • Leading ER cases end-to-end: Running investigations and casework with clarity, care and fairness - robust processes and balanced outcomes.

  • Powering performance & reward cycles: Supporting performance reviews, ratings calibration and reward processes, while coaching managers to take a continuous, year-round approach to performance and development.

  • Policy: Helping managers navigate people policies with confidence, offering clear advice so decisions are fair, consistent and well-informed.

  • Championing employee engagement: Supporting engagement survey cycles, helping leaders interpret results and turn insight into meaningful action.

  • Turning data into decisions: Using Workday and Tableau reports to spot trends, risks and opportunities, guiding leaders to focus energy where it matters most.

  • Driving continuous improvement: Spotting ways to simplify people processes and improve how we work - always with people front of mind.

About you

  • Business-savvy & context-driven: You connect people advice to organisational goals, understanding how strategy, timing and teams shape the right call.

  • Advisory & coaching-led: You don’t just answer questions - you coach managers to make confident, balanced decisions themselves.

  • Change-resilient & calm: You bring clarity when things feel ambiguous and keep momentum rolling in fast-moving environments.

  • Data-informed & outcome-oriented: You use people data to surface patterns and turn insight into actions that genuinely improve outcomes.

  • Tech-savvy: You’re comfortable using tools like Workday, Tableau, Culture Amp and Slack (and you don’t panic when a dashboard refreshes).

  • Collaborative & curious: You ask great questions, connect dots across teams and enjoy finding better ways of doing things together.

  • Employee relations pro: You’ve led and documented investigations and complex cases with fairness, empathy and excellent judgement.

What you need to know about the London Tech Scene

London isn't just a hub for established businesses; it's also a nursery for innovation. Boasting one of the most recognized fintech ecosystems in Europe, attracting billions in investments each year, London's success has made it a go-to destination for startups looking to make their mark. Top U.K. companies like Hoptin, Moneybox and Marshmallow have already made the city their base — yet fintech is just the beginning. From healthtech to renewable energy to cybersecurity and beyond, the city's startups are breaking new ground across a range of industries.
