Axioma is currently seeking a qualified Lead Sales Manager - Hedge Funds and Analytics to join our growing team, focusing on the UK market. You will be bringing Axioma’s award-winning software and data to new and existing hedge funds, leveraging your connections within the hedge fund ecosystem. The position will be based in London. Candidates must have a documented history of sales, exemplifying success in building and maintaining business relationships with hedge funds and achieving significant sales targets.
Demonstrated experience with sales of analytics solutions to hedge funds in the UK is essential for candidates interested in this position*
Responsibilities
- Aim to significantly elevate sales performance and consistently achieve or surpass yearly goals
- Target and acquire new accounts through cold calling, prospecting, networking, and securing appointments
- Identify new sales opportunities and initiate and manage sales dialogue with these contacts
- Communicate Axioma's value proposition to prospective clients
- Work with the Marketing department to ensure consistent lead generation
- Solve customers’ challenges by applying a combination of technology, business, interpersonal and professional experience
- Negotiate and close sales contracts
- Gather product feedback from customers and relay those needs to Product Management
- Supervise all sales communication with leads and prospects within the team
- Record and track sales activities using Axioma's CRM software
- Regularly report to management on performance vs. sales goals
Requirements
Qualifications
- Showcase solid competencies in crafting written content and engaging in verbal discourse, are diligent in listening attentively, and display a real commitment to aiding clients and prospects in addressing their business concerns
- Extensive experience selling portfolio analytics tools, which include risk analysis, performance attribution, and portfolio optimization
- Understand the need to secure revenues for the Company in the short term, while also demonstrating customer-facing skills necessary to build long-term business relationships with clients
- Illustrate competence in leadership roles and an enthusiasm for entrepreneurial activities
