About IFX Payments

We're an award-winning global provider of foreign exchange and payment solutions. At IFX, our mission is to become the number one service-led alternative banking partner in EMEA for corporates and Financial Institutions that add value beyond the transaction. We have one vision: to Win. Properly.

What’s the role?

  • Job Title: Senior GTM & Growth Marketing Manager
  • Department: Marketing
  • Reporting Line: Head of Marketing
  • Location: London Office

Overview of the role

We are seeking a Senior GTM & Growth Marketing Manager to accelerate growth across non-SEO, non-content inbound channels and build scalable full-funnel programs that generate pipeline, revenue, and product adoption.

This role complements our existing inbound engine (content, SEO, and performance managed by the Head of Marketing) by owning additional growth levers; including lifecycle marketing, outbound and ABM campaigns with sales, partner and affiliate programs, and GTM execution for new propositions and features.

You will be the strategic GTM lead across launches and revenue-driving campaigns, while acting as a sounding board to the Head of Marketing on performance marketing strategy, helping evaluate agency output, channel performance, experimentation opportunities, and budget allocation.

This role is ideal for a marketer who is both strategic and highly hands-on, comfortable building from zero, and motivated by revenue outcomes.

Responsibilities

GTM Leadership & Full-Funnel Growth (You Own)

  • Lead the planning and execution of go-to-market strategies for campaigns, feature launches, persona plays, and vertical-focused initiatives.
  • Own the full GTM campaign lifecycle: proposition, messaging, channel mix, delivery, optimisation, and reporting.
  • Identify new scalable acquisition and engagement channels beyond content, SEO, and core paid — e.g., partner-led, referral etc.
  • Bring data-backed recommendations to shape channel strategy and support budget allocation discussions.

Supporting Head of Marketing on Paid Performance (You Influence)

  • Act as a strategic input and challenger on performance agency strategy, experimentation roadmap, funnel journeys, and landing page performance.
  • Support campaign planning so paid activity aligns with wider GTM and lifecycle efforts.
  • Review performance insights and make suggestions for testing, messaging, and conversion improvements.

Sales & Revenue Alignment (You Co-Own with Sales)

  • Partner with Sales leadership to align campaigns to revenue goals and accelerate pipeline momentum.
  • Build and continuously optimise outbound and ABM campaign frameworks, sequences, and workflows in the CRM.
  • Equip Sales with persona insights, pitch messaging, outreach copy, and social selling assets to increase conversion rates.

Lifecycle, Retention & Customer Marketing (You Own)

  • Own lifecycle strategy across onboarding → activation → product adoption → renewal → advocacy.
  • Build automated nurture programs for customers and prospects to increase usage, revenue, and retention.
  • Launch scalable programs to drive NPS, Trustpilot reviews, case study sourcing, referrals, and community advocacy.

Partnership & Sponsorship Activation (You Own)

  • Create and execute joint GTM campaigns with partners and affiliates that drive qualified pipeline beyond SEO-led referrals.
  • Own activation of sports sponsorships (AFC Bournemouth, Ipswich Town, BOXXER), ensuring brand visibility and measurable ROI via integrated campaigns.
  • Build partner marketing playbooks, co-marketing kits, and partner enablement collateral to increase partner-led revenue contribution.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in a growth marketing or GMT role with proven track record of launching and scaling products
  • Background working closely with product, sales, and leadership teams
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, develop insights, and translate them into strategy.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • A true team player with a winning mentality and strong work ethic committed to continuous improvement and high performance
  • Adaptable, tenacious and flexible who is able to perform under pressure
