Job Description

This role sits within the training team, a specialist function within the business that provides a range of courses and educational services covering over 250 digital marketing topics, including social media, search, cloud and AI. You will be selling to customers globally, courses range from a single day up to extensive AI transformation programs spanning many months.

Role Overview

The Senior Growth Manager owns high-quality, timely responses to customer enquiries, using strong digital knowledge to match needs to our products and services. The role involves creating proposals, leading customer calls, and working cross-team to close sales with confidence. You will also be working on key partnerships and be responsible for growing business with our existing customers.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage inbound customer enquiries end-to-end, ensuring timely, high-quality responses that convert interest into qualified sales opportunities.

  • Use strong digital and commercial understanding to diagnose customer needs and position the most relevant products and services to drive revenue growth.

  • Lead consultative sales conversations with senior stakeholders, uncovering objectives, budgets, and success metrics to progress opportunities effectively.

  • Develop tailored, commercially compelling proposals that clearly articulate value, outcomes, and pricing to support confident buying decisions.

  • Work closely with marketing, delivery, and leadership teams to align solutions, share insights, and continuously improve win rates and deal quality.

  • Own the sales pipeline through to close, forecasting accurately, identifying upsell or expansion opportunities, and contributing to overall growth targets.

    Ability to lead structured, insight-driven sales conversations, uncover customer needs, influence senior stakeholders, and guide prospects toward confident buying decisions based on value and outcomes.

    Solid working knowledge of digital products, services, and market trends, enabling accurate matching of customer requirements to solutions and credible positioning during sales discussions.

  • Proposal Development & Commercial Storytelling
    Capability to create clear, persuasive proposals that articulate customer value, outcomes, pricing, and ROI, supporting faster decision-making and higher win rates.

  • Collaboration & Cross-Functional Working
    Proven ability to work closely with marketing, delivery, and leadership teams to shape solutions, share insights, and ensure smooth handover from sale to delivery.

  • Pipeline Management & Forecasting Discipline
    Strong organisational and analytical skills to manage opportunities end-to-end, maintain accurate CRM records, forecast revenue reliably, and use data to continuously improve sales performance.
