This is a hybrid role, based in our London office at 5 Howick Place and includes on-site presence during the tech festivals and key production periods. You’ll work closely with Brand, Marketing and Operations teams to ensure all creative output aligns with the brands and creative visions.

What You’ll Do

Creative Leadership & Execution

  • Event branding, signage, wayfinding, and environmental graphics
  • Stage visuals, screens, and motion-led assets in collaboration with our in-house motion studio
  • Digital assets for web, email, social media, and paid marketing campaigns
  • Own creative execution from concept through to final delivery, ensuring a cohesive and high-quality attendee experience

Brand & Quality Assurance

  • Act as the brand guardian for the respective tech festivals, maintaining consistency and excellence across all print and digital outputs.
  • Provide quality control and final checks across all creative deliverables.

Collaboration & Project Delivery

  • Work closely with marketing, content, production, and external partners to manage timelines and ensure seamless delivery.
  • Manage and direct freelance designers, providing clear creative direction and constructive feedback.

Production & Technical Excellence

  • Prepare final artwork for print and large-scale production.
  • Manage print production and CMYK file preparation, liaising with suppliers and vendors as required.
  • Design with real-world environments in mind, including scale, lighting, screen ratios, and on-site application.

Creative Development

  • Stay up to date with trends in event design, experiential marketing, and technology-led experiences.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to elevate the visual impact of the respective tech festivals.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional graphic design experience, ideally within events, experiential marketing, or brand-led environments

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating:
  • Print and large-format design
  • Digital and social assets
  • Event or experiential branding (a bonus)
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of Figma, After Effects or motion design experience is a plus
  • Strong understanding of CMYK workflows, print production, and file preparation
  • Excellent grasp of typography, layout, colour, and visual storytelling
  • Experience designing for physical environments, including large formats and screen-based outputs
  • Strong organisational, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple projects, and deliver under tight deadlines
  • Meticulous eye for detail and commitment to high-quality output

Personality & Mindset

  • Thrives in fast-paced, high-energy environments and remains calm under pressure
  • Proactive and solutions-focused, with a strong sense of ownership
  • Strategic thinker who can translate complex ideas into compelling visual narratives
  • Confident presenting ideas and open to feedback and collaboration
  • Adaptable and resilient, particularly in live-event scenarios
  • Strong visual taste, cultural awareness, and storytelling instincts
  • Comfortable working as the sole designer while collaborating closely with wider teams
  • Invested in evolving and maintaining robust brand guidelines

Nice to Have

  • Motion graphics or basic animation experience
  • Experience working with 3D designers, AV teams, or fabricators
  • Familiarity with live event production workflows
