Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Account Manager, reporting to the Global Account Director within the Strategic Segment.

As the Senior Account Manager you will be the first point of contact and responsible for supporting the day-to-day business activity and overall health of the assigned partner(s).  You will work internally across Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) and with external partner(s) to deliver agreed commercial and strategic objectives globally. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own day-to-day business for assigned partner account(s), ensuring smooth operation and hand-off of operational needs through internal teams, ensuring overall health of the Partner is being addressed. 
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of the Partner’s business, portfolio, and long-term strategic vision. 
  • Identify business opportunities across Partner’s portfolio and live services. 
  • Provide guidance and be a potential first point of partner contact for content pipeline and other operational or technical situations that impact the rhythm of the business. 
  • Communicate business, platform, and policy updates to Partners. 
  • Contribute to or create account/account segment reports, present data and insights to internal and external teams. 
  • Execute external and internal business planning sessions to meet the needs of the Partner (JBRs, JBPs, Content Lifecycle Plans, Performance Reviews, Post-Mortems, and overall governance). 
  • Work as a collaborative team member within the Partner Commerce Team in establishing and executing Partner plans; understanding market dynamics, shifting consumer demands, and helping adjust priorities/account plans to meet future market needs. 
  • Support SIE’s operating models, plans, and deliver against collective Partner/SIE annual KPIs. 
  • Identify and deliver content suitable for specific platform activity and campaigns (PS Services, PS Direct, PS Stars, etc.). 
  • Be a team player with a focus on building internal and external relationships and excellent collaborative cross-functional collaboration skills and team mentality. 
  • Assist with the facilitation of Partner’s participation at PlayStation PR/media events and B2B requests. 
  • Participate in yearly budgeting and quarterly forecasting for the account set, helping to set expectations internally of the market, release slate, and overall status of the business. 
  • Participate in and support joint business reviews, Monthly/Weekly team meetings, business performance reviews. 
  • Input, monitor and track CRM progress through Salesforce. 
  • Support Account and process documentation assigned by Global Account Director. 

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or commensurate relevant experience.
  • Proven Senior experience in Sales, Account Management, Publisher Relations, or other relevant service-oriented roles that manage revenue.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytically minded with data experience.
  • Experience working in Video Gaming, Media, Entertainment, High-tech, or other associated verticals is a plus.
