We are currently seeking a Senior Data Engineer to work on a delivery team developing, implementing and maintaining a Product core to Fidelity’s Investment organization.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL
- Knowledge and expertise in reporting, data analysis and data modeling skills
- Strong Experience in SQL performance tuning along with exposure to Agile development practices
- Python, Snowflake and Power BI experience would be a nice to have.
- Demonstrated experience working with Continuous Integration pipelines and automated deployment tools (e.g. Jenkins)
- You have strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at a given time.
- You thrive in a team environment, collaborating openly with colleagues on shared items of work
- You can act independently to achieve team goals and can provide leadership to more junior team members when needed.
- Produce high-quality code, with high test coverage, following Fidelity processes, standards, and methodologies
- Ensuring systems in your assigned area are robust, resilient and stable
- You will ensure the end-to-end delivery of requirements or user stories meets the needs and expectations of our business partners
The Team
The position aligns to the Fidelity Fund Investment Operation FFIO Technology organization which provides worldwide technology and support to the Investment Management, Research, Trading and Investment Operations functions.
