About Raspberry Pi

Founded as a charity in 2008 and selling its first computer in 2012, today Raspberry Pi is two separate organisations in two locations:

•        Here at Raspberry Pi Ltd, we build best-selling computers, microcontrollers, and supporting software for industrial and embedded customers as well as home users worldwide.

•        Raspberry Pi Foundation is a charitable enterprise dedicated to enabling all young people to realise their full potential through computing.

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for someone to perform the following tasks:

•        Targeting ASIC technology to FPGA technology, including memory translation, clocking/gating, and cell mapping.

•        Partitioning of large SoC designs across multi-FPGA prototyping platforms, such as Synopsys HAPS and Siemens proFPGA, using high-end AMD/Xilinx devices.

•        Platform bring-up, test and debug.

•        Build and maintain prototyping flows across ProtoCompiler, Synplify and Vivado, automated with Tcl and Python.

•        Integration of high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, LPDDR and Ethernet.

•        Diagnose platform issues with design, verification and software teams.

•        Define and test interface boards for FPGA prototype platforms

•        Work with Synopsys, Siemens, Cadence and other EDA vendors on tool issues and requirements.

•        AMD/Xilinx Vivado flow using high-end devices (UltraScale+ or Versal).

•        Ideally, hands-on experience with Synopsys HAPS.

•        SystemVerilog RTL, and ASIC/SoC development flows.

•        Scripting in Tcl and Python.

•        GIT version control environment

•        Clear communication and good documentation habits.

It would also be great if you have:

•        Synopsys ProtoCompiler and Synplify.

•        Used simulation and debug tools such as VCS, Questa and Verdi.

•        Prototyped Arm or RISC-V CPU subsystems.

•        Embedded Linux bring-up on FPGA platforms.

•        Experience with other FPGA prototyping platforms, such as Siemens proFPGA or Cadence Protium

•        Board-level bring-up and debugging experience

Benefits
