The Test Engineering team works across the entire spectrum of products ranging from Lattice Ghost UAS, Sentry Tower, cUAS and our other platforms. Our team conducts full system level development testing, new aircraft development, sub-system testing and much more. In short, if it involves test we support it. WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • As a Test and Evaluation (T&E) engineer, you will be responsible for test planning, execution, and reporting
  • Testing responsibilities encompass system-level evaluation of hardware and software, focusing on executing ground and flight tests, enhancing and developing processes, and engaging in technical test assessments.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret test data, identify system behaviors, and drive product enhancements, process improvements
  • Manage the use of test ranges and coordinate with external agencies to facilitate testing activities
  • Work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor's degree or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and 3+ years flight test engineering experience
  • Ability to travel, as required, for planning and testing.
  • Previous expertise and working knowledge of the National Airspace System and UAS operating rules and regulations thereof
  • Must have a strong understanding of fundamental flight test processes and principles, with experience demonstrating their application.
  • Should be able to quickly grasp concepts quick and apply them, efficiently organize and schedule work phases, and have the ability to independently troubleshoot field-related problems at the task level, creating effective solutions.
  • Strong computer and documentation experience
  • Must have strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; able to perform complex tasks in one or more engineering areas
  • Able to work extended hours as required
  • Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Masters in Aerospace Engineering
  • Experience working with the Department of Defense (DoD)
  • Experience as a test conductor, test director, or similar
  • Prior drone experience or small UAS
  • Familiarity with Linux system and programing languages such as Matlab, Python, etc

US Salary Range

$120,000$155,000 USD

 

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
