About the Role:
The Everest Enterprise Risk Management team seeks an experienced Senior Financial Risk Analyst. This individual will be a strong problem-solver and critical-thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset who can produce meaningful qualitative and quantitative insights to solve complex business problems.
This is a brand new role supporting the Financial Risk Lead within Global Risk Hub under Enterprise Risk Management department. We are seeking an individual to support analytical dialogue towards ensuring a consistent approach to Financial Risk Metrics across all global operations. (US, Europe, Asia, Pacific, North America, Latin America).
This position will be based in our London office with a hybrid schedule of working two days remote each week.
Role & Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

Assist in annual Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) reporting across entities.

Support regulatory inquiries and requests across entities.

Support the day-to-day reporting activities for Senior Management and on-going committees.

Analyse and monitor risk trends and variances and drives of change.

Identify areas of opportunity and risk across capital requirements.

Coordinate and collect analysis on deep dives across FAIR disciplines (Finance/Actuarial/Investments/Risk).

Collaborate with central Capital Modeling team and track regulatory requirements across operations.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field such as Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science.

Individuals from an Actuarial background, progressing with Actuarial studies desirable.

Applicants with CFA and FRM certifications also desirable.
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:
-
Proven experience in financial analysis and reporting inclusive of forecasting of balance sheets and income statements.

Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail and ability to interpret complex data sets.

Strong proficiency in sensitivity analysis and ability to convey complex financial topics to non-financial stakeholders.

Solid understanding of economic and accounting principles on solvency regulations.

Familiar with SOX controls and related governance.

Experience with delivery of quarterly financial reports.

Proven ability to work effectively in fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities.

Ability to collaborate across international teams with experience of dealing with wider finance groups and leaders.

Additional language skills desirable.
