Job Responsibilities:
Magna is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to support the global harmonization of the Accounts Payable (AP) function and the strategic rollout of E-Invoicing across Magna's global operations. This role plays a critical part in transforming Magna's accounting practices toward a more digital, standardized, and efficient future state. The successful candidate will contribute to process excellence across divisions and regions, ensuring compliance, consistency, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Act as Magna's main point of contact for any global E-Invoicing matters.
Continuously monitor international regulatory developments to ensure Magna's E-Invoicing processes remain compliant.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and maintain Magna-wide standards for E-Invoicing formats, platforms, and compliance protocols.
Act as a key contributor to the global implementation of E-Invoicing solutions, working closely with Finance and IT teams.
Partner with IT and external vendors to ensure seamless integration of E-Invoicing solutions with Magna's ERP systems.
Support the evaluation of current AP processes across divisions to identify opportunities for standardization and automation.
Contribute to the development and deployment of AI-driven solutions aimed at optimizing AP processes and achieving leading practice benchmarks.
Recommend and support implementation of process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and vendor satisfaction.
Assist in establishing process monitoring tools and KPI dashboards to track performance and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; alternatively, extensive experience in Accounts Payable and E-Invoicing may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in finance, with a strong focus on AP and E-Invoicing processes.
Advanced Excel skills.
Strong understanding of global financial compliance and regulatory environments.
Experience working with ERP systems (especially SAP).
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across functions and geographies.
Preferably experience in a multinational manufacturing or automotive environment
Exposure to AI or automation technologies in finance, in particular P2P and E-Invoicing solutions is an asset
Project management experience or certification is an asset
