Position Summary

ESBO (European Service Business Organisation) is responsible for identifying, evaluating and determining new opportunities within the digital media and advertising industry with the goal of creating scalable services and businesses on top of the global footprint of European Samsung Smart TVs! The ESBO team is working to build value for partners, advertisers, and agencies through its unique insights into TV viewership in the shifting media landscape.
We’re looking for a driven, collaborative and forward thinking person to lead our ESBO finance team. In this role, you will be the finance partner and trusted adviser to our advertising sales team and partner teams ensuring that the drivers of performance are well understood, and providing your business partners with actionable insights.

Role and Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities
•    Manage revenue, expenses, and key business metrics within our international services business.
•    Support senior leadership with insights into business growth drivers, risks and opportunities
•    Lead long term strategic plans with commercial leaders
•    Provide direction for yield strategy across Europe
•    Partner with sales leadership to define, track and review quotas and MBOs for sales teams
•    Drive simplification, improvement and scaling of existing processes and tools.
•    Ensure that the full end to end workflow (from client set up, campaign set up through to billing) is customer centric and robust
•    Partner with corporate finance teams and international teams to drive continuous improvement in financial and operational performance
•    Manage and control corporate expenditure, being proactive in identifying and mitigating potential issues and providing key collaborators with relevant guidance

Your key people management responsibilities
•    Provide clarity on strategy, team purpose & value and define the key areas of focus and direction.
•    Support the development of your team through regular mentoring, coaching and feedback, 1:1s and on the job learning opportunities.
•    Role model inclusion for your team to build trust and psychological safety.
•    Ensure communication with your team is a core focus area including cascade of information from LT’s and relevant business updates.
•    Manage the on boarding, off boarding process and the entirety of the colleague lifecycle process for all team members.
•    Manage all annual people management cycles such as goal setting, evaluation and salary reviews to a high quality and in a timely manner.
•    To be accountable for ensuring your team are compliant with company processes and procedures; such as compliance, meeting mandatory business cyclical deadlines, and understanding the company values.

What we need for this role
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
•    A proven track record of relevant experience in leading a finance team.
•    In-depth understanding of business processes related to Sales, Marketing, and Operations
•    Familiarity with media, TV measurement
•    Advanced Excel skills are required, including a deep understanding of formulas, macros, pivot tables.
•    Experience working with Salesforce and SAP
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills
•    SQL skills – a plus
•    Experience working with statistical analysis/tools - a plus
•    Korean fluency – a plus
