About the Role

The role of Senior Finance Manager is part of a specialist finance team and will have responsibility of engaging with key stakeholders in finance and the business. You will be one of the key points of contact with the external audit team. Group Reporting work closely with the Core Accounting team in supporting and aiding development.

What you will be working on

  • Overall lead for preparation of the interim and annual report and preparation of subsidiary statutory accounts

  • Ensuring the successful delivery of the external audit & developing a strong relationship with audit team 

  • Providing technical accounting advice to the Group’s businesses, including for new products, contracts, offers or corporate transactions

  • Preparation of technical accounting papers to explain accounting judgements to key stakeholders

  • Advising on changes in accounting standards and the business impact

  • Driving improvement in the Group’s controls and financial reporting processes.

What will make you successful in your role?

  • Progressive finance experience, including strong technical accounting experience (practice background  and IFRS experience advantageous).

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence at all levels.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
