Senior Finance Manager - Commercial Business Partner

Location: Hub & Hybrid (Minimum 1 day per week in our Cambridge office)
Contract: 1-Year Fixed Term

Are you ready to influence strategy and drive profitable growth in one of Illumina’s dynamic EMEALA sub-regions? As Senior Finance Manager - Commercial Business Partner you’ll be the commercial finance leader for your region—owning the full P&L and partnering closely with the Sub-Region General Manager and leadership team.   • Own the Numbers: Full P&L responsibility—from revenue to OPEX to profit.

  • Lead Transformation: Simplify processes, improve reporting, and champion efficiency.
  • Collaborate Across Borders: Work closely with country and sub-regional teams to deliver consistent, impactful financial guidance.
What You’ll Do
  • Partner with commercial functions to support forecasting, budgeting, and pricing strategies.
  • Deliver actionable insights on investment performance and market opportunities.
  • Design and implement reporting tools that empower teams and streamline processes.
  • Act as a catalyst for change—challenging decisions with sound financial reasoning.
  • Represent Finance at senior leadership meetings, influencing key strategic initiatives.
What You Bring
  • Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting (MBA/CPA/CIMA/ACCA preferred).
  • Proven experience in a high-growth or large-scale organization (life sciences/pharma a plus).
  • Advanced skills in TM1, Cognos, IBM Planning Analytics (or similar).
  • Strong grasp of corporate finance principles, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
