Business Partnership & Strategic Influence

Partner strategically with business leaders and key stakeholders across national and regional capital markets to drive informed decision-making and sustainable growth. As a key member of the UK Capital Markets Steering Committee, you will have a seat at the table where you'll actively contribute strategic insights and provide constructive challenge to shape business direction. You will proactively influence daily operations while shaping long-term business strategy and direction. This role demands independent engagement with senior leadership, where you'll confidently present insights, challenge assumptions, and drive accountability for results. You must possess the gravitas and executive presence to effectively engage with senior stakeholders, commanding respect through your expertise and strategic acumen. You'll establish robust commercial frameworks and lead transformational change initiatives to ensure delivery of critical operational, commercial, and financial objectives. Additionally, you'll help upskill our business teams on finance terminology, particularly promotees, to help them gain a deeper understanding of JLL metrics and drive profitable growth.

Performance Analytics & Business Intelligence

Deliver comprehensive business performance insights that unlock value and identify strategic opportunities. You'll conduct deep-dive analysis to assess risks, evaluate market dynamics, and incorporate perspectives from our internal Research team, while forecasting future performance impacts. Your analytical expertise will enable data-driven decision-making across the UK Capital Markets business, transforming complex information into actionable intelligence that drives competitive advantage.

Financial Planning & Corporate Finance Excellence

Lead the evolution of our budgeting and forecasting capabilities, driving accuracy and strategic foresight.  You will take ownership of developing longer-term financial plans that incorporate the business's strategic pillars, serving as the driving force behind these critical planning initiatives. You'll work with (and enhance) existing pipeline reporting models, and cost forecasting where required, ensuring the UK Capital Markets business stays ahead of market trends. Additionally, you'll provide expert support for the business when dealing with revenue recognition matters, partnering with Controllership and the Centre of Excellence. Working with the team leads, COE and Controllership on commissions, you'll ensure there is appropriate visibility and accuracy of commissions throughout the year. You'll also ensure the business optimises its working capital by focusing on initiatives that enable more timely raising of invoices.

Strategic Business Development

Conduct critical assessments of all Capital Markets sub-segments to identify high-potential growth areas and optimisation opportunities within a three-year strategic horizon. You'll architect comprehensive growth strategies focused on enhancing profitability in both absolute terms and percentage margins. Playing a key role in talent acquisition strategy, you'll evaluate the ROI and payback periods of strategic hires while supporting leadership in investment decisions that drive sustainable competitive advantage.

Global Collaboration & Knowledge Exchange

As the Capital Markets Finance Business Partner for the largest market outside of the US, you will work closely with the Capital Markets FP&A lead for Eurasia to drive mutual value creation. You'll proactively bring innovative ideas to the table for efficiency improvements and enhanced profitability that can be scaled and implemented across other J10 leasing markets. Equally, you'll champion the adoption of best practices and insights from other markets into the UK & Ireland business, ensuring continuous improvement through global knowledge exchange. Cultivate strong partnerships with Eurasia and Global Capital Markets FP&A teams, as well as Finance Business Partners across J10 markets. You'll facilitate cross-market collaboration, driving innovation through shared best practices and strategic insights that benefit our local and global operations and enhance our competitive positioning.
