The FP&A team is part of the wider CFO-function and have had great success in supporting the business so far and are now working on enabling growth in the business and scaling efficiently.

Position Overview: 

As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be an integral part of our FP&A team, reporting directly to the Director of Commercial Finance and FP&A.

You will work cross-functionally to support our business through detailed financial analysis, planning, and forecasting.

You will play a key role in providing insights that drive strategic decision-making and help optimise financial performance across the company.

Key Responsibilities: 

Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Lead the annual budget planning process, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Partner with departmental budget holders to develop and maintain cost center budgets.
  • Partner with People team to received up to date staffing information for financial forecasting, confirm budget and be first line of approve for new job postings
  • Conduct periodic budget follow-ups, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
  • Drive monthly and financial year forecasts, providing insights on risks and opportunities.

Financial Analysis & Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyse budget performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare management reports, including variance analysis and scenario planning.
  • Support strategic decision-making by providing financial insights and recommendations.

Manage and enhance the Commission Process:

  • Ensuring accurate calculations, timely payouts, and alignment with sales performance
  • Proactively identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and increase efficiency.

Operational & Month-End Close Support:

  • Assist finance control teams with the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Oversee accrual preparations to ensure proper expense recognition.
  • Collaborate with accounting teams to improve financial processes and controls.

About you: 

  • 5+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A or Business Partnering within high-growth startups or scale-ups, with a track record of driving strategic financial insights.
  • Capable of leading and executing financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to engage cross-functionally across Finance, Sales, and Operations to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment, approaching challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to think proactively and anticipate business needs.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial modeling, reporting and storytelling
  • Comfortable multitasking and managing multiple priorities across stakeholders, ensuring high-quality delivery in a fast-paced environment.
