The Role: How you'll make an impact at Personio
This position is office-based (hybrid) in any of our European office locations. Ideally Munich or Dublin
We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Manager to join our FP&A team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of financial planning and analysis for several of our key departments within Personio including People Workplace and IT, Data and Systems, Finance and Legal and supporting our CEO office. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5-10 years experience, ideally from the SaaS or E-Commerce sector, and is a highly analytical, detail-oriented individual who is able to zoom in and out, making recommendations on the strategic direction of departments and supporting impactful decisions.
Role Responsibilities

  • Business partner for the Chief People Officer, Chief Financial Officer, leader of data and systems plus financial insight and support for the office of the CEO
  • Lead the budgeting cycle with the department leads and support across the year on financial performance
  • Prepare and present monthly financial reports and dashboards for executive leadership/department leads, highlighting key performance indicators and trends
  • Identify and implement enhancements to financial processes and systems within the business units, leveraging technology to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support strategic initiatives and projects by providing financial analysis and guidance on profitability, cost control, and resource allocation
  • Own elements of central Group FP&A processes such as cash flow forecasting & analysis
  • Collaborate between FP&A and operational teams including accounting, legal and strategy
  • Mentor and guide junior finance team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.


Role Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • 5-10 years experience in FP&A
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prepare and present financial reports and dashboards that communicate financial performance and key metrics to stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of key business metrics in SaaS industry
  • Knowledge of process automation tools and techniques to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency
  • Expertise in developing and managing budgets and forecasts, including variance analysis to compare actual performance against projections
  • Ideally experience with Workday and Adaptive Planning and Tableau
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Fluency in German is preferred but not required
