Our teams are putting the world’s retailers online using the cloud, robotics, AI, and IoT. About the role

In this role you will be supporting the Head of IR to develop and deliver an impactful and consistent narrative to our stakeholders. The role will include helping to generate external reports and presentations across HY/FY releases, seminars and capital markets days/tours and liaising with investors and equity analysts to better inform their view of Ocado’s economic value. Additional focuses include the monitoring/analysis of partner/ competitor/ industry developments and investor targeting/outreach with Ocado Group’s senior executive team.

Responsibilities

• Generate external reports and presentations for the HY/FY releases, working closely with our FP&A and Financial Reporting teams
• Interact and respond to investors and equity analysts to better inform their view of Ocado’s economic value
• Liaise with the business and finance team leaders to shape the constituent parts and our overall strategic and financial narrative
• Work with our communications colleagues and our external advisors to ensure consistent and impactful messaging
• Generate ad hoc releases and analysis to react to capital market and partner/ competitor/ industry developments
• Refine investor targeting and the roadshow/conference schedule for the senior exec. team and IR
• Generate content for and manage investor seminars, capital market days and CFC tours
• Analyse and manage capital market and investor feedback
• Monitor and analyse capital market expectations and consensus forecasts

About you

• Strong financial and/or economic acumen
• Excellent communication skills through the different Google suite mediums; sheets, docs, slides
• Ability to multitask, organised, attention to detail, high level of accuracy
• Willingness to develop relationships throughout the organisation
• Ability to respond sensitively and appropriately to confidential issues and information
