What does a Field Marketing Manager (12 month FTC) do at Busuu?
We are looking for a Field Marketing Manager (Maternity Cover) to support our marketing and B2B teams during a key period of event execution and pipeline generation.
This role will lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of B2B events across our core regions (Italy, France, Spain, DACH, and ROW), working closely with New Business and Customer Success stakeholders to ensure our event strategy delivers high-quality opportunities and pipeline.
The person in this role will own end-to-end event execution, including event logistics, contracts and invoice coordination, collateral and merch management, on-site event support, and post-event lead processing and reporting.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working with multiple teams and stakeholders across regions.
Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end coordination and execution of B2B events across our core regions — Italy, France, Spain, DACH and ROW — ensuring a flawless delivery and strong on-site presence.
Manage all aspects of event logistics and on-site execution, including stand setup, collateral, merchandise, shipping, supplier coordination, and real-time troubleshooting to maximise impact during event days.
Coordinate internal stakeholders (New Business, Customer Success, Marketing, and speakers) to ensure alignment, readiness, and clear ownership before, during, and after events.
Deliver against defined pipeline targets, ensuring events contribute measurable impact to revenue and growth.
Track, analyse, and report on event performance, with a strong focus on marketing-sourced opportunities and pipeline generated.
Oversee event-related contracts, purchase orders, and invoices, ensuring adherence to budgets, internal processes, and timelines.
Requirements:
Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of collaborating across teams and regions
Proven experience delivering B2B events end-to-end, including planning, coordination, logistics, and on-site execution
Strong project management skills, managing multiple events, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously in fast-paced environments
Highly organised and detail-oriented, with confidence managing operational processes such as contracts, approvals, purchase orders, and invoices
Data-driven mindset, comfortable tracking event performance, reporting on outcomes, and managing lead data within CRM systems (ideally HubSpot)
Nice to have:
Experience in B2B SaaS or EdTech environments
Familiarity with the corporate HR and L&D landscape across Europe
Experience working across multiple European markets, particularly France, Italy, Spain, and DACH
Additional European language skills (French, Spanish, Italian, or German)
