About the Role
As a Field Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering high-quality in-building cellular systems across a range of sites throughout the UK. You’ll take ownership of on-site management, installation, and fault-finding, ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You’ll also lead and support installation teams, helping to uphold Boldyn’s reputation for excellence in wireless infrastructure delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise on-site installation engineers to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.
Conduct toolbox talks, dynamic risk assessments, and manage day-to-day site operations.
Work closely with Project Managers to report progress, resolve issues, and meet project milestones.
Attend site briefings and ensure effective communication with the wider team.
Install and terminate CAT5E, CAT6, CAT6A, coaxial, and fibre optic cabling, including testing and fault-finding.
Install containment systems such as cable trays, conduits, and trunking.
Install wireless access points and equipment at height.
Install and configure network cabinets, both floor-standing and wall-mounted.
Qualifications and Skills
SMSTS / SSSTS, IPAF, CSCS/ECS, PASMA, CDM 2015 Awareness, First Aid & Fire Stopping Awareness.
Experience deploying in-building cellular coverage systems.
Proficient in using cable certification tools (e.g. Fluke).
Commercial electrical qualification (desirable).
Full UK driving licence.

Ability to develop RAMS and deliver safety briefings.
Excellent communication skills and a “right first time” attitude.
Working knowledge of RF systems and deliverables.
