ROLE SUMMARY:

The Senior Enterprise Tools Engineer will be part of the Engineering team and is responsible for taking up the implementation changes across Enterprise Tooling. This position requires strong knowledge of Atlassian Tools like JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket. It also requires knowledge on any Strategic Portfolio tools like Clarity, Planview and ServiceNow and must have experience in integration of these strategic Enterprise Tooling applications.

You'll be accountable for defining solutions on assigned projects for Enterprise Tooling, detailing the solution, and coordinating with Enterprise Architect team in taking the solution through the LSEG governance processes wherever applicable. The Role will have to work with the Enterprise Tooling Product Owner's to propose solutions to the requirements.

This position will need to recommend future Atlassian product Roadmap to align strategically with organization’s Enterprise Tooling Framework.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to capture requirements and implement Tailored solutions

  • Develop Integration capabilities between JIRA, Clarity, Service NOW, HR(Workday) and Finance (Oracle) systems to align with the Enterprise Tooling Framework

  • Hands on Experience to implement, configure, maintain, and optimize Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) & its integrations to other Enterprise Tooling applications

  • Develop and maintain custom workflows, dashboards, and reports in Jira

  • Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of the Atlassian environment

  • Deliver training and support to users on effective tool usage

  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively

  • Stay current with Atlassian product updates and implement new features

  • Provide technical directions for strategic Enterprise Tooling Roadmap

  • Monitor Application Performance and provide recommendations

  • Code Review and Impact Analysis review of Changes

  • Identify Errors and work closely with vendors for fixes

  • Provide Technical Documentations to changes

  • Conducts Knowledge training sessions for Team development

  • Identify avenues to tune the performance of current processes

  • Solid understanding of HR module for integration requirements

  • Strong understanding of the reporting Framework

  • Handle L3 support tickets individually with in agreed SLAs

  • Work with LSEG Architecture group in defining potential technology solutions and ensuring alignment to architectural principles

  • Collaborate with business and functional leads to socialise technology projects and obtain cross functional approvals from Legal, Group Risk, Compliance, LCH Ltd/LCH SA

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
  • Atlassian Tools – JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket experience

  • Any one database knowledge with PLSQL production experience

  • Cloud and SaaS Implementation

  • System Integration

  • AI chatbot, LLMs knowledge is preferred

  • Stakeholder Management

  • Reporting Frameworks

  • Degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience

  • Proven training in software development lifecycle or methodologies

  • Good background in SaaS and knowledge of technology estates

  • Understanding of Agile

  • High level of proficiency with MS Office applications

  • Experience in large investment banking or financial services organisations is a plus

  • Strong Planning, organisational and stakeholder holder management, with confidence to challenge preconceptions of outcomes and solutions

  • Good communication, presentation, documentation, and customer engagement skills with demonstrable ability to work optimally with all organisational levels

  • Global experience – working successfully with teams in multiple locations simultaneously
