What will you contribute?

The Senior Director, Enterprise Sales – Europe is a key executive leadership role responsible for defining and executing the go-to-market strategy for Large Enterprise Payments solutions across continental Europe. This position requires a visionary sales leader with deep expertise in financial technology and a proven track record of driving transformational growth within top-tier European banks and financial institutions.

As a senior leader, you will own regional revenue targets, shape strategic account plans, and lead a high-performing team of enterprise sales professionals. You will partner closely with the Chief Revenue Officer and cross-functional leaders to influence product strategy, market positioning, and competitive differentiation. This role demands exceptional executive presence, strong industry relationships, and the ability to deliver sustainable growth through strategic partnerships and innovative sales approaches.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:

  • Strategic Leadership
    • Define and execute the regional enterprise sales strategy aligned with global objectives.
    • Drive market penetration and revenue growth across Europe’s largest financial institutions.
    • Influence product roadmap and pricing strategies based on market intelligence and customer feedback.
  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing enterprise sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
    • Establish clear performance metrics and ensure consistent achievement of revenue targets.
  • Market & Customer Engagement
    • Develop and maintain trusted C-level relationships within Tier 1 banks and financial institutions.
    • Serve as a thought leader and advisor to clients on payments modernization and digital transformation.
    • Represent the company at industry events, forums, and executive briefings to strengthen brand presence.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Oversee accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and strategic account planning.
    • Ensure compliance with sales governance, contract negotiation standards, and risk management protocols.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in financial technology, with at least 5 years in a senior regional or global leadership role.
  • Proven success in driving enterprise-level sales strategies and managing multi-million-dollar quotas.
  • Deep understanding of the European financial services ecosystem, specifically across Payments, Faster Payments, and Real-Time Payments.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence at the C-suite level and build strategic partnerships with Tier 1 banks.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and executive communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating with product, marketing, and operations teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Europe.
