We’re recruiting a Senior Enterprise Change Manager to lead high‑impact, organisation‑wide transformation. If you’re passionate about shaping and delivering people, process, and technology change - and driven to create meaningful improvements for our customers - this could be the perfect next step for you.

Who Are We?

Not just another building society. Not just another job.

We're the fourth biggest building society in the UK and what makes us a bit different is that we're a mutual organisation. We don't have shareholders; we're owned by our members.

Our colleagues say Skipton's a great place to work, and you could be one of them, bringing with you new ideas on how we can keep customers at the heart of what we do.

Whatever your background, and whatever your goals, we'll help you take the next step towards a better future.

You will be reporting to the Head of Change and will join the Change Delivery Leadership Team, consisting of 2 Senior Enterprise Change Managers, 1 Senior Change Optimisation Manger, 1 Senior Enterprise PMO Manager and 1 Senior Journey Experience Manager. Every change we deliver is ultimately for our customers and we’re delivering new experiences centred around their needs – ensuring faster, simpler and more connected customer experiences that genuinely add value.

What’s In It For You?

Skipton values work/life balance and we are proud to support hybrid and flexible working, where possible. We have a newly refurbished head office which offers a vibrant and collaborative working space.

We have a range of other benefits available to you including;

  • Annual discretionary bonus scheme

  • 25 days standard annual leave + bank holidays + rising 1 day per year of service to a maximum of 30 days

  • Holiday trading scheme allowing the ability to buy and sell additional annual leave days

  • Matching employer pension contribution (up to 10% per annum)

  • Colleague mortgage (conditions apply)

  • Salary sacrifice scheme for hybrid & electric car

  • A commitment to training and development

  • Private medical insurance for all our colleagues

  • 3 paid volunteering days per annum

  • Diverse and inclusive colleague networks available for you to join including our Carers and Pride Alliance groups

  • We care about your health and wellbeing – we provide a range of benefits that support this including cycle to work initiative and discounted gym membership

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise-wide change, ensuring initiatives align with strategic goals and deliver measurable value.

  • Provide strong leadership to change teams and partners, guiding internal teams, contractors, and embedded change agents across multiple initiatives

  • Drive Agile maturity across the organisation, while ensuring flexibility to deliver through a variety of change frameworks and methodologies

  • Act as a trusted escalation point and thought leader, ensuring robust governance, effective risk management, and high-quality delivery standards.

  • Partner with the Head of Change to shape and execute the enterprise change roadmap and optimise the change operating model.

  • Enable seamless cross-functional collaboration, working closely with delivery teams, business units, and enabling functions such as technology, architecture, and finance.

  • Ensure effective prioritisation and resource allocation, aligning delivery cadence with business needs and strategic priorities.

  • Champion continuous improvement and adaptive planning, fostering an agile, change-ready culture across the organisation.

  • Embed outcome-focused performance measures, tracking delivery health, benefits realisation, and informing data-driven decision-making.

What Do We Need From You?

  • Proven leadership capability, with experience managing multi-layered delivery teams in complex environments.

  • Strong knowledge and expertise across a variety of delivery frameworks (e.g. lean-agile principles, SAFe, Waterfall, Scrum, and Kanban)

  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to influence, engage, and challenge senior stakeholders effectively.

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and fast-paced change.

  • Deep change management capability, including impact assessment, readiness planning, and benefits realisation.

  • Excellent facilitation and negotiation skills, especially within complex stakeholder landscapes.

  • Experience delivering enterprise-wide transformation, ideally in matrixed or regulated, technology-enabled environments.

  • Commercial and financial acumen, with experience supporting investment cases and benefits tracking.

What you need to know about the London Tech Scene

London isn't just a hub for established businesses; it's also a nursery for innovation. Boasting one of the most recognized fintech ecosystems in Europe, attracting billions in investments each year, London's success has made it a go-to destination for startups looking to make their mark. Top U.K. companies like Hoptin, Moneybox and Marshmallow have already made the city their base — yet fintech is just the beginning. From healthtech to renewable energy to cybersecurity and beyond, the city's startups are breaking new ground across a range of industries.
