This role sits within a growing engineering group working on complex cloud computing challenges - designing and maintaining the cloud native data pipeline engine that powers the Lansweeper platform.
Your work will directly impact how Lansweeper ingests, processes, enriches, and reconciles massive asset and inventory datasets across customer environments worldwide.
In the short term, you'll focus on evolution and maintenance of our distributed data pipeline. In the long run, you'll contribute to architecture improvements, new data processing capabilities, and platform scalability to support our next generation of technology asset intelligence.

Challenge
The main challenges you'll face are:
- Enhancing and maintaining a high performance data pipeline for Lansweeper Discovery and the broader Lansweeper Platform
- Tackling complex ETL, enrichment, and data reconciliation problems in a cloud environment
- Working within a largescale distributed architecture to continuously improve performance, quality, and reliability
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, cloud native data processing services in Java and Go
- Implement and optimise ETL workflows and data enrichment pipelines
- Build RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and backend integrations
- Collaborate closely with engineers and product teams to deliver stable, maintainable code
- Ensure test automation, code quality, and CI/CD best practices across the data platforms
Hard Skills:
- 6+ years of software engineering experience, ideally as a Senior Software Engineer in cloudbased or datadriven systems
- Handson experience with Java, Go, Python, Spark, Spring, and TypeScript
- Strong knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform)
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI, ArgoCD), Git, Kafka, Hadoop, and Cassandra
- Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, ClickHouse)
- Experience with testing frameworks (Mockito, Testcontainers, Localstack) and observability tools (Grafana, OpenSearch)
Soft Skills:
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Strong problemsolving ability in complex, distributed systems
- Ownership mindset and comfort operating in an agile and collaborative environment
