Clarivate is seeking a Senior Employment Relations Partner to join our dynamic global ER team.

The Senior Employment Relations Partner is responsible for consulting with and supporting business leaders and colleagues by resolving workplace matters through consistent application of Clarivate policies and practices.

Clarivate is a fast-paced organisation and we are seeking experienced ER professionals who are proactive and are comfortable with change management.

This role will have frequent exposure to senior leadership and we are seeking candidates who are comfortable with conflict management as well having strong investigative skills.

A successful candidate will be a self-starter, stronger communicator, highly collaborative and an effective problem solver.

Although the main focus of this role will be the UK, it will also support other locations within the EMEA region.

This role is a maternity cover and will be offered on an initial 14 month fixed-term contract.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments…

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred

  • 7 years’ of experience in HR with at least 5 years of experience in employee relations

  • Strong knowledge of UK laws and statutes that govern employment policies and practices as well as having exposure to other EMEA locations.

It would be great if you also had…

  • CIPD certification or similar.

  • Project Management experience.

What will you be doing in this role?...

  • Coach business leaders and colleagues to provide guidance and resolution in workplace matters.

  • Consult with business leaders on interpretation and application of corporate policies, practices and applicable laws and regulations.

  • Assist with training as needed for business leaders on employment laws and practices

  • Field colleague complaints and concerns and conduct complex workplace investigations as required

  • Communicate regularly with the business leaders regarding investigations and make recommendations on the appropriate corrective actions as required.

  • Analyse risk factors and apply appropriate employment laws and regulations to colleague matters.

  • Analyse ER trends and make recommendations to the broader HR team to strategize on effective policies, practices and programs. 

  • Assist with employment relations work stream for organizational changes such as redundancies or realignments

  • Assist business leaders and colleagues with leave and accommodation administration

  • Maintain thorough documentation of workplace matters

  • Assist with creating and maintaining team processes and procedures

  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow and close team knowledge gaps

  • Provide coaching, training and mentorship for team members

  • Collaboration with work council representatives if applicable to the location

  • Provide support with redundancies and consultation

About the Team

This role will report into Director for Employment Relations and will work within a team of ER professionals covering the EMEA & NA regions.
