Job Description:
What You'll Do:
Responsible for entering, maintaining, auditing, and processing sensitive data managed by Employee Relations. Responsible for maximizing technological capabilities to reduce manual processes, general maintenance of the databases, preparing ad-hoc reports, and serving as a resource for process-improvement tasks and special projects. Responsible for assisting in the implementation of ER strategies, programs and policies which promote productive and positive relationships between managers, employees and co-workers by helping to prevent and resolve issues between individuals. Responsible for following ER related policies and procedures in a consistent and expedient manner to ensure that employees are treated fairly and actions taken are in compliance with Company policy and government regulations. In addition to handling day-to-day ER matters, may also help to educate appropriate audiences with the goal of minimizing legal risk and preventing the unfair treatment of employees. Will work on local ER projects. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.
How You'll Do it:

  • Provides advice and guidance to managers, in a influential consultative capacity, with assigned business units to address employee performance and conduct issues, including guidance, review and approval of corrective actions and recommendations for termination.
  • Daily management of corrective action ER related data and governance.
  • Ability to work with and manipulate large data sets within excel, identifying efficiencies and errors to ensure the highest level of accuracy.
  • Leads local ER projects and may work on cross functional projects.
  • Handles miscellaneous ER activities, conducting ER related training for managers, creating ER records and producing ER reports.


Qualifications You'll Need
The Basics

  • Bachelors in Human Resources, Business Administration and Management, Psychology, Analytics, English Literature or related
  • 4+ years in Human Resources, Leave of Absence, Timekeeping, HR Administration or Employee Relations
  • In lieu of education experience, 6+ years in Human Resources, Leave of Absence, Timekeeping, HR Administration or Employee Relations

  • Ability to operate office equipment such as but not limited to computer, telephone, printer, and calculator.
  • Ability to communicate verbally.; Ability to communicate in written form.


Bonus Points If You Have

  • 2+ years Functional experience in Microsoft Excel
  • 4+ years Knowledge of State and Federal legislation and regulations that are related to human resources.
  • 4+ years High volume data processing. Ability to gather, collate, and or classify data; query and formulate data to prepare reports as needed; analyze data using defined processes.
  • 4+ years establishing and maintaining effective working relationships; maintaining confidentiality and communicating with individuals in a variety of pay grades including VP's and Directors and business units.

Compensation:
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $67,000.00 to $113,000.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
