  • Write clear and engaging headlines.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years of experience editing investing or markets articles.
  • Proven ability to shape a compelling lede, succinct conclusion, and overall story structure that best conveys information to readers.
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize copy flow under time pressure, and manage competing demands from team members and editors.
  • Native or equivalent command of the English language.
  • Experience editing stories on deadline, at speed, without sacrificing high editorial standards.
  • Confidence in adopting new technologies into daily workflow and interest in innovation.

Nice to have:

  • Additional language skills at a business-fluent level.
  • Experience in leveraging financial data platforms (e.g. Morningstar, Factset, Bloomberg) as part of the editorial process.
  • Familiarity with Morningstar research and data
  • Comfort with Excel.
  • Experience of working in a large organization with multiple teams and reporting lines.
  • Experience working with teams where for some members, English is not the first language.
  • Investment Management Certificate (IMC) or qualifications from the CISI.
