About the Role:
Chemical Market Analytics is looking for a senior editor to join our global editorial team. The editorial team edits chemical industry market reports, strategic studies and bespoke projects and will work closely with high-profile subject matter experts. The ideal candidate is either an editor with a proven track record of editing industry publications, or a technical writer ready to make the transition to editing. Experience editing publications covering the chemical industry or other manufacturing industries is a plus.
You Will:

Edit English language publications and projects on technical and analytical subject matters pertaining to the global chemical and related industries

Edit raw text from authors, researchers and consultants for publication in industry market reports and consulting projects

Correct spelling, grammar, text structure and flow to enhance readability for technical and non-technical client audiences

Review graphs, tables, flowcharts and other non-text items for accuracy
-
Work within existing Word and Powerpoint brand templates and Drupal content management system

Work successfully with local and global teams to meet tight publication and project deadlines
You Have:

Degree educated with experience of editing, preferably with an emphasis on chemical/manufacturing industries.

Sound editorial judgment including experience of editing text written by non-native English speakers.

Familiarity with Drupal/Word Press content management systems a strong plus

Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

Adept at multitasking and managing a high volume of work.

Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate publishing schedules.

Background in petrochemical industry or other industry publications or technical writing preferred.
