Overview of the role:
The PokerStars Creative & Content team has an amazing opportunity for a Senior Edit Assistant– to be a key figure in the operation of the Creative & Content post production department.

This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both, while recognising that quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned.
In our office you'll work with a view – overlooking the River Thames, Hammersmith Bridge and the iconic Harrods Furniture Depository. What you’ll do:
Reporting into the Head of Technical Operations, the purpose of this hands-on role is to ensure the ongoing smooth running of the Covent Garden based post production facility, supporting all technical requirements of the Creative & Content team whether in facility, remotely or on location. The successful candidate will need a high level of autonomy; this is not a 9-5 role.

Work closely with the Post Production Coordinator to ensure the smooth running of the post production department

Be a focal point for edit suite operations

Day to day technical oversight of the facility

1st and 2nd line support within the facility

Prepare media and projects for offline edit through to online edit and delivery

Create and QC files for all platforms
What you’ll bring:

Experience with Avid Media composer / Avid Interplay
-
Experience with Adobe Creative cloud products
-
A high level of competence with PC and Mac networked environments
-
A high level of experience of DIT, file creation, video codecs and media creation tools
-
Self-starter with honed problem-solving skills
-
Strong interpersonal skills, coupled with an adaptable and positive attitude
Desirable
-
Familiarity with AWS and internet streaming equipment and platforms
-
Familiarity with XenData Lt0 and Telestream Vantage
-
Experience in the betting and gaming industry
