The Role:

As a Senior Trading Manager, you will be responsible for creating and implementing regional strategies for the trading team that align with EMEA and global DTC goals. You will be consumer-obsessed, data-driven, and a builder of brands. You will influence global teams on projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with regional goals by brand. You will also arrange and communicate regular updates on projects, bringing teams on board and updating the business on project performance against agreed metrics. This role involves planning and executing onsite trading and merchandising for FLG brands, ensuring the commercial offering is at the forefront of all plans.

Your Impact:

  • Create, own, and implement trading strategies in the short, medium, and long term that align with regional brand and commercial goals.
  • Lead the region in delivering an aligned strategy, focusing on consumer and brand building.
  • Plan and execute the seasonal trade calendar, ensuring campaigns, product, and category launches are executed on time.
  • Develop and communicate a commercial and promotional trading calendar in line with FLG strategy.
  • Oversee the execution of the online site merchandising strategy, ensuring alignment between brand marketing, digital marketing, and planning.
  • Lead your team with regular 1:1s, goal reviews, succession planning, and support making Deckers an amazing place to work.
  • Support in sales planning and forecasting, identifying and monitoring stock challenges and opportunities.
  • Gather information about the trading customer journey to improve product and category experience and performance.
  • Design a roadmap for site improvements via enhancements, third-party technology, analytics, testing, and general improvements.

  • Experienced in eCommerce trading management with a proven track record.
  • Skilled in using catalogue management systems and web analytics tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to spot trends and opportunities in data.
  • Customer-centric and able to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Able to coach, develop and motivate strong-performing team
