Salary Range: $140,000.00 - 190,000.00 (On Target Earning)

The Opportunity

As a Sr. Director, Product at Kargo you will not only lead and own the product vision, goals and roadmap for one or more products, you will directly oversee a number of products and initiatives and act as a business leader within the organization. You will have the opportunity to manage, be responsible for the success of a product team with a particular focus area and heavily contribute to Kargo’s overall product and business strategy.

The Daily To-Do

  • Lead and mentor a team of product managers.
  • Oversee the strategy and guide success of Kargo’s key products responsible for how we activate, report, and build campaigns and creatives. 
  • Work closely with senior leadership to set, communicate, and execute on Kargo’s business strategy on one of our most critical product areas. 
  • Contribute directly to and own our internal bidding, creative, workflow, and ad demo products. 
  • Operate autonomously to effectively deliver on product timelines and KPIs.
    • Work with customers, business stakeholders, project, engineering and design teams to discover, define, and create product innovations
    • Define requirements and guide execution in an Agile Scrum development environment
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing and internal operation teams on go-to-market and training activities to ensure full value is delivered to the market.
  • Contribute to broader business and product strategy focused on driving performance, scale, and efficiencies for our teams. 
  • Work with other members of the Product Team to provide a full suite of market solutions and build interoperability between other product areas at Kargo. 
  • Maintain and mentor others on a deep understanding of Kargo’s overall business strategy and the broader advertising technology space building products and workflows that support Kargo’s strategic goals. 
  • Prepare company wide training and communication materials as needed.
  • Monitor and report on product metrics and business KPIs.
  • Serve as an exceptional example of how a product manager can apply their skills to understand market problems and help create smart and effective solutions.
  • Be an advocate for continuous improvement of Kargo’s management and delivery of product strategy.

Qualifications

  • 4 + years in advertising technology
  • 6+ years of experience in product and project management including experience leading cross functional initiatives and teams
  • Experience managing media buying products such as DSP Campaign management workflows
  • Experience with Creative building workflows such as adservers, DSP creative workflows, etc
  • Experience and success in owning client/customer relationships and communications
  • Proven ability to dive deep in understanding the product, business, and the competitive landscape
  • Strong record of mentorship required with a proven track record of effective management
  • Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use data and metrics to make decisions and develop business cases
  • Strong understanding and experience with product management techniques especially as it relates to SCRUM and Agile process
  • Proven track record of delivering successful products to market
  • Execution focused, owner mentality and willing to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary
