Job Description

The Opportunity:

We, at Flywire, are seeking a Senior Director, Payment Monetization to develop, implement, and optimize pricing strategies across Flywire’s global payments solutions.  As Flywire continues to scale globally, we are at an inflection point in how we monetize our payments platform across regions, verticals and customer segments.   

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own Flywire’s payment’s monetization strategy across $37.5B in global payment volume
  • Optimize existing pricing structure to drive group KPIs using competitor data, customer feedback and performing effective pricing tests
  • Be the expert with respect to pricing and cost related matters for the entire organization
  • Track competitive landscape globally and ensure Flywire’s offering continues to be attractive for customers from a pricing perspective
  • Influence Sales, Product and Finance leadership to balance growth, competitiveness and the overall corporate objectives to drive alignment on pricing strategy and enterprise deal decisions
  • Establish guardrails and approval frameworks for non-standard pricing deals
  • Analyze transaction-level data and pricing performance metrics to identify opportunities for price optimization and margin improvements
  • Monitor global regulatory and economic developments that may influence pricing decisions, ensuring compliance with regional and international requirements
  • Deliver clear, data-backed pricing recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making

Qualifications

Here’s What We’re Looking For: 

  • A strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities and a deep understanding of pricing models and financial analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus
  • 12-15 years of experience in pricing strategy, financial analysis, or revenue management—ideally in fintech, payments, SaaS, or financial services.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and modeling, with hands-on experience using Excel, SQL, Python, or BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Ability to distill complex data into actionable insights and communicate them effectively to various stakeholders
  • Solid grasp of market dynamics, competitive pricing frameworks, and revenue optimization techniques
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Experience working in a global environment, with familiarity in multi-currency pricing structures and international payment regulations

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $195,000-245,000 and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, position level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and several other factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education and training.
