With billions of queries across our platforms, we help people find their perfect flight, stay, rental car and vacation package. We’re also transforming business travel with a new corporate travel solution, KAYAK for Business.

As an employee of KAYAK, you will be part of a travel company that operates a portfolio of global metasearch brands including momondo, Cheapflights and HotelsCombined, among others. From start-up to industry leader, innovation is in our DNA and every employee has an opportunity to make their mark. Our focus is on building the best travel search engine to make it easier for everyone to experience the world.

Lead the strategy and day-to-day operations of KAYAK’s Commercial Partnerships team in EMEA and LATAM, working closely with the regions’ GM. You will lead all aspects of the management of our most strategic business partnerships across OTAs, Airlines, Hotel chains and Car rental agencies. Working alongside Product, Marketing and other cross-functional teams, your role is to balance delivering value to our partners, to KAYAK and to our users; helping us on our mission to build the world’s best travel search engine!
In this role, you will:

  • Set and deliver both the commercial strategy and revenue targets across both regions
  • Build, negotiate, and scale business relationships with our partners
  • Work closely with the Senior Director, Ad Sales to identify new revenue opportunities
  • Develop positive relationships and work cross-functionally with the KAYAK Commercial, Product and Engineering teams.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape of partner’s content and develop strategies to provide KAYAK with the best content for our users.
  • Influence marketing, product and engineering initiatives that impact the region
  • Act as a regional voice in global forums, shaping KAYAK’s commercial roadmap with insights from EMEA & LATAM markets

Think this sounds like you? Here's what we're looking for:

  • 15+ years of experience in commercial functions, ideally within online travel with a strong grasp of the unique dynamics, cycles, and competitive pressures within travel
  • A knack for building great relationships: you thrive in managing complex, wide-ranging partner relationships as well as have extensive experience in contract negotiation
  • The ability to see the big picture: you are a commercial leader with experience setting long-range strategy and managing global teams. And you empower those teams to achieve and exceed goals
  • A detail junkie: who loves numbers and who is happy to roll up your sleeves
  • A consumer-centric mindset and muscle
  • A work in progress: because who isn’t? And you live by a test and learn mantra
  • A sense of humour and thrive in an unstructured, fast-paced, and constantly evolving environment
  • High cultural IQ with experience operating across diverse geographies, languages, and partner types
