This executive partners closely with commercial and marketing business leaders to translate business needs into scalable, reliable technology solutions — enabling growth, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making. The role drives platform excellence across CRM, marketing automation, digital content management, analytics, and related commercial systems, positioning Fortrea for continued competitive advantage in the global CRO marketplace.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Drive consistent adoption of product management methodologies and agile ways of working across the commercial technology product teams

  • Oversee demand management and capacity planning for commercial platform projects and product teams, ensuring alignment with business priorities and technical requirements

  • Develop, manage, and monitor annual budgets for commercial technology platform projects and operations, driving fiscal discipline through regular budget versus actual analysis and recommending corrective actions where needed

  • Oversee vendor relationships for commercial technology platforms, including contract negotiation, service level agreement (SLA) compliance, and ongoing performance monitoring

  • Lead platform integration efforts to ensure seamless data flow between commercial systems (e.g., CRM, marketing platforms) and enterprise data environments

  • Champion data quality, governance, and analytics capabilities within commercial and marketing platforms to support business intelligence and strategic decision-making

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize commercial and marketing processes through technology, including automation and digital-first approaches

  • Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing organization of technology professionals, establishing a culture of accountability, continuous learning, innovation, and business partnership. Drive talent development, leadership coaching, succession planning, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives that strengthen organizational capability and support long-term business objectives.

  • Stay current on emerging commercial and marketing technology trends, evaluating new tools and capabilities that could advance Fortrea’s competitive positioning and operational effectiveness.

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for managers, product leaders, technology professionals, and cross-functional teams supporting Fortrea's commercial and marketing technology platforms.

  • Establish clear performance expectations, development objectives, accountability measures, and success metrics aligned with organizational priorities and business outcomes.

  • Lead workforce planning, organizational design, and resource strategy activities to ensure the organization maintains the capabilities, capacity, and expertise required to support current and future business needs.

Qualifications (Minimum Required):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field required

  • Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, variance analysis, and vendor management for enterprise technology platforms

  • Strong understanding of commercial business processes, including business development, proposal management, customer relationship management, and marketing operations

Preferred Qualifications Include:

  • Experience leading platform integration efforts across CRM, ERP, data warehouse, and marketing systems in a complex enterprise environment

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities to liaise with senior business stakeholders, present technology roadmaps, and guide cross-functional teams

  • Proven ability to influence and engage with senior executives, fostering strong relationships and aligning cross-functional teams to common goals

  • Demonstrated success in leading agile product teams, applying product management methodologies to drive iterative delivery and continuous improvement

  • Familiarity with data governance, reporting, and analytics capabilities within commercial technology environments and a commitment to data-driven decision-making

  • Demonstrated expertise in identifying potential risks in technology platform initiatives and implementing effective strategies to mitigate them
